Folorunsho Coker has been a popular figure for a long time and his popularity could be traced to his family, his father, Chief Folarin Coker fondly called Baba Eto of Lagos was one of the political leaders in Lagos State. Folly has been within the corridor of power as one of the closest aides and Deputy Chief of Staff to Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu during his 2nd term tenure and he is also still much relevant within the corridors of power after his ex-boss’ exit.
The latest gist about the dashing Lagos big boy is that he was bounced at a wedding reception in Lagos today.
The event is the Wedding ceremony between Jessica, the daughter of a wealthy engineer, Engr Yomi Akande, and her heartthrob Samuel, both based in far away Canada.
Information at the disposal of Society Reporters NG revealed that the Governor Fashola’s Special Adviser on Central Business District, who took over from Derin Disu came to the strictly by invitation event without his invitation card, and he was honorably bounced from the event by the stern looking security men at the entrance of the Giwa Barracks, Alfred Rwanne Street ikoyi Lagos, venue of the talk of the town event today Saturday 16th August, 2014.
We gathered reliably that one of the organizers of the event later came to his aide by talking to the security guys who were working on instructions, before he was later allowed to come in to the event.
Some eye witness revealed that he actually forgot his invitation card inside his car which was parked a bit far from the venue of the reception. But another school of thought has it that he was only trying to gate crash the event to enable him mingle with the who is who at the event.
The event is chaired by Resource Energy Boss, Jide Omokore, and has popular gospel singer, Yinka Aiyefele on the band stand.
