It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of the past President of African Women in Leadership Organization (AWLO), Dr. Violet Arene, who passed on 17th May 2020 after a brief illness.
According to the founder of the organization Dr. Eisha Attai, “She would continue to remain a valued part of AWLO, with her tremendous contributions to the advancement of women’s leadership and will be missed”.
Adding that her family needs all the prayers and moral support of the association and the women in general through this difficult time.
