The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial zone, Senator Smart Adeyemi, has come under fire over his remarks that “Abia is governed by drunkards.
Adeyemi had while contributing to a debate on the floor of the Senate yesterday veered off from the subject on the ground and began to attack Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
I write to condemn in its entirety the putrid that emanated from the buccal cavity of Senator Smart Adeyemi’s sequel to a diarrhea diseased mouth. The vituperations poured on a sitting scholarly Governor of Abia State His Excellency OKEZIE VICTOR CHIBUIKEM IKPEAZU has inadvertently exposed the naïveté, infantilism and nihilistic protestations of Senator Smart Adeyemi to gubernatorial seats since he lost out being DEPUTY GOVERNOR and GOVERNOR after the post-election death of late Governor Abubakar Audu of Kogi State in 2015.
The verbal display of Senator Smart Adeyemi further ridiculed and reduced the supposed hallowed Chambers of the SENATE to BEER PARLOR where BAR TALK is elevated to DEBATE.
GOVERNOR Okezie Ikpeazu Ph.D. is the son of a disciplinarian School Teacher of the Adventist faith (THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH).
Governor Ikpeazu whom I call DOC is one of the few young men that studiously obtained Ph.D. below the age of thirty years.
I don’t know of DRUNKS achieving that feat.
It will interest you to know that GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU PHD, is a pious and dedicated SABBATH SCHOOL TEACHER that has mentored so many youths in the way of the Lord. There is no given opportunity that he does not utilise to praise and espouse the words of GOD.
The Governor Ikpeazu I know does not relish in alcohol. The label of drunkenness or revelry is only in the imagination and fantasies of Senator Smart Adeyemi who perhaps drew inspiration from his darling Governor.
If 144 (one hundred and forty-four) strokes of the cane could have reformed you from your jaundiced thoughts I would gladly have seen it administered to you but having come from a State full of intellectuals we will not resort to pursuing with our nakedness a mad man who took our loin clothes from our bathing place or else it become a celebration of madness.
Let it not happen again.
