5 MINUTES WITH MRS TOLA AJAYI

Mrs Tola Ajayi is the Clinic Manager at Nordica Fertility Centre, Lagos. The centre is affiliated with Nordica, Denmark,. Since its inception in 2003, the centre has expanded into three major cities in Nigeria; providing a range of assisted reproduction services across the nation. Prior to her appointment at Nordica Fertility Centre Lagos in 2007, she has worked at Vantage Medical Services, Lagos; from 1999 to 2006 as Head of Clinical Services. She has received training in outstanding institutions such as the prestigious Harvard University Mind, body Medicine College and WPF, therapy in conjunction with University of Roehampton UK in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is a member of the Endometriosis Support Group (EDSG), Fertility Treatment Support Foundation (FTFS) and Fertility Awareness Advocacy Initiative (FAAI). What are the things you are most passionate about?

My passion is to bring smiles to people’s faces no matter the challenge especially people who are fertility challenged .
I like people around me to be happy.

 

You double as the clinic manager and head of FTSF; can you tell us what you do on both jobs?

As the clinic manager, I see to the day to day running of the clinics, for FTSF, I’m not in charge,Nordica is the medical partner for the foundation which was set up to assist couples who are fertility challenged and cannot afford the treatment.

The aim is for the foundation to support financially and emotionally. But of course they need financial support from people to help run the program successfully

 

What does style mean to you?

Style to me is to do whatever makes me happy and comfortable

 

which of these would you rather spend your money on, clothes, shoes or bags?

All of the above. They are all necessary

What would you rather spend money on, fashion or charity?

It’s obvious. Charity. If my passion is to encourage people then giving to charity is more important to me

.What are your favorite beauty/skin products at the moment?

No particular beauty routine. Healthy eating, lots of water ,fruits, vegetables and exercise

Tell us your style motto?

To be comfortable in whatever I wear

What would you ultimately like to achieve and then you can say YES!

As long as I’m alive achievement is ongoing but I will continue to touch the lives of people positively
