During the service of songs conducted by the faithful of St Anthony of Padua Parish Uli in honour of the deceased, the Catechist described the couple as true Christian who dedicated their time for the service of God and the community who never relented till they joined the saints.

In recognition of the dedicated service of the late Moses Obiasogu,to his community and for continuation of same, the royal council of Uli and indeed the entire town, unanimously asked the chief mourner, Benny Chinedu Obiasogu, to step into his father’s shoes by bestowing on him the traditional title of ‘The Ogbuehi of Uli land’, as formerly held by his father until his demise.

This is a clear response to prayers of fathers who want their child(ren) to walk in their exemplary shoes as soon as they bid the world farewell.

Ten P afterwards was conferred with the chieftaincy title, The Ogbuehi of Uli land. So, when next you see the young man, Benny, Ten P around you, remember he is now a respected red cap chief with full royal benefits.

Through scholarships, vocational training programs, and youth empowerment schemes, Oba Elegushi has enabled countless young people to realize their full potential and contribute to the growth of their community.

Despite the pressure, challenges, and obstacles that pockmark kingship and public office, Oba Elegushi remains undaunted, leading with integrity and humility while inspiring a new generation of leaders to follow in his footsteps and shaping a legacy that will endure for a long time.
