SOCIETY REPORTERS EXCLUSIVE: BILLIONAIRE BUSINESS MAN SIR MICHAEL NEGBENEBOR KIDNAPPED IN BENIN……… “We have paid the Ransom but they have not released him”……….. Daughter

Caroline Adeneye (Nee Negbenebor), the daughter of billionaire business man, Sir Michael Negbenebor has confirmed in strong terms the abduction, last weekend, of the Chairman, Soccer group of companies, and Negbenebor International School.

Society Reporters NG exclusively gathered that, Sir Negbenebor was abducted in benin last week Sunday in Benin city, Edo State. We gathered further that the security situation in the state whereby law abiding citizens or residents no longer go about their lawful duties freely or move freely within the ambit of the laws of the land, was very worrisome and counterproductive.
When Society Reporters contacted Caroline Adeneye on the abduction, she told us in a telephone chat that the story is true. “Its true he was kidnapped last week Sunday in Benin”
She stated further that, “ The kidnappers asked for a ransome which we have paid on Tuesday 26th August, 2014, and till now he has not been released.
When asked how much ransome was paid to the kidnappers, Caroline refused to disclose the amount paid, for security reasons and also considering the fact that her father is yet to return home.
“ I cant disclose the amount we paid” she told us.
The siege which the people of Edo State have been subjected to in recent times by these agents of counter-culture, is even more disturbing, given the presence of the members of Edo State government’s elite anti-kidnapping/crime outfit named, “Operation Thunderstorm” in the state, particularly in Benin city, where most of the abductions have so far taken place
The alarming rate of kidnapping and upsurge in other criminal activities in the state calls to question the effectiveness and efficiency of “Operation Thunderstorm”, which the state government is funding with the tax payers’ money, that is, the money of the people they are supposed to protect.
