Penultimate weekend, Arinola Morenikeji Kola-Daisi clocked 50. To celebrate the event, her husband, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, the Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland hosted a classy party in her honour.
The birthday reception was held at Harbour Point, Victoria Island. The Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo (the celebrant’s best friend), were on ground to celebrate with the golden girl.
A season banker and finance and tax expert, Arinola Kola-Daisi is the General Manager, Retail Banking Group, at Skye Bank. She is the last daughter of the late boardroom guru and philanthropist, High Chief Ilemobayo Akinola, the former Lisa of Ondo Kingdom, who was popularly called ‘Ojo gbogbo bi Odun’ which literarily means no dull moment.
Kola-Daisi is also the younger sister of Yewande Zaccheaus, the CEO of Eventful, a former banker, lawyer and the pioneer of event management business in Nigeria. Her other siblings are Mobola Johnson, the former Minister of Communication Technology and Akinyinka Akinola, a politician.
