Socialite and toast of musicians, Gbenga Adesanya popular known as Dodoye- thanks to the praise singing of celebrated fuji act, Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe – has scampered underground.
And sources confirmed this move as ‘in search of a way out’ of his present logjam.
The co owner of hospitality place, Aries Suites is enmeshed in a N800m deal gone sour – and inability to fulfil business obligations has kick started a chain of humiliating episode.
Best friend and of the partners in the deal gone sour, Lanre Ere had allegedly locked Adesanya in his dog house for hours to humiliate him into paying up.
Ere used to the method to force his friend to reveal where his properties, particularly choice automobiles were- and he confiscated them before Gbenga was released from the dog house.
The episode with Ere opened the door for the arrest of the once upon a time spender by two other unnamed partners in the deal.
The troubled socialite was reportedly detained at Panti Police Station, Yaba for a week. He was reportedly released after he gave assurances he would be repay invested funds to partners involve in the N800m deal gone sour.
He had reportedly gone underground immediately- with his whereabouts labelled ‘a mystery’ at press time.
