A Facebook user has been arrested after posting a message praising the ISIS terror attacks in Paris and claiming that Manchester could be next. The post surfaced on Sunday afternoon for around 45 minutes before police were alerted and it was removed. A 21-year-old from Todmorden, West Yorkshire, was arrested this morning and remains in police custody on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.
The post read: “My brothers did well in Paris. Now we have proved that there’s a bit of intelligence, planning and synchronization going into our killings. You people are starting to realize that we are a force to be reckoned with. WE ARE ISIS, THIS IS OUR TIME NOW. Keep your eyes on Manchester, AALUUACKHBAAR! Rip jihadi john.”
Facebook users hit out at the rant and reported him to police. It is believed the person who posted it is British born.
