SCION OF THE AWOLOWO FAMILY, OLUSEGUN AWOLOWO GETS BRAND NEW IVMG5 SUV…………. + Exclusive pictures inside.

We have in very good authority that the scion of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo Dynasty, Olusegun Awolowo has just added a brand new Made- in- Nigeria  Innoson IVMG5 SUV to his fleet of cars.
The elated Olusegun as he is called among his peers posted few of the pictures of the new aqcuired machine on social network earlier today and was so proud to be patriotic.

Mr. Olusegun Awolowo is a brilliant Nigerian lawyer and scion of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, one of the triumvir of Nigeria’s great founding fathers. Mr. Awolowo was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 1989 after he completed legal education at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos.

He thereafter immersed himself into the practical side of the profession by serving with the prestigious law firm of Abayomi Sogbesan & Co. SAN (NYSC period). He later gained employment with another prestigious law firm – GOK Ajayi & Co. SAN where he continued to apply himself to legal practice.

Mr. Awolowo, served in various positions under the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo presidency: Special Assistant on Traditional Institutions (2003); Special Assistant on Legal Due Diligence with the Budget Monitoring and Price Intelligence Unit (BMPIU) 2005 and as Special Assistant Legal Matters during which he covered a wider range of legal issues for Mr. President including drafting of bills for passage to the National Assembly.

Under President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua he was deployed as Secretary for Social Development in the FCTA, Abuja (2007) and later as Secretary of Transport (2008) where he played a significant role in evolving a master-plan for an efficient urban transportation in the FCT. He left the FCTA upon the demise of President Yar’Adua back to private practice.

He was later to be called up for duty again in 2013 where upon he was appointed Executive Secretary and CEO, Nigeria Export Promotion Council.

His experience at the highest level of Nigerian Government has exposed him to national policy making at the highest levels as well as across the country. He has built a solid base of friendship which cuts across regional, ethnic lines and international lines.
