Otunba Peter Obafemi, a businessman and socialite , has every reason to thank God for so many things. Not too many are as lucky as he is in life. Indeed, if there is anything at all that he is thankful to God for, it is the fact that He has kept his mother, Madam Patience Olutayo Obafemi, alive till old age in good health. Consequently, Obafemi, a former Ekiti State governorship aspirant, left no stone unturned when he celebrated his beloved mother who hit 90 Sunday, August 14.
In celebrating his beloved mother, who already joined the club of nonagenarians last week Sunday, Obafemi engaged the services of the famous events planner, Bimbo Arije, for the event that was held at the Eagles Club on Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos.
The event was determined to be memorable to those who were lucky to attend, and would still be discussed by people considering the class of society big wigs who attended. Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey and Sir Shina Peters, thrilled the invited guests at the occasion. Dignitaries at the event includes: Minister for Solid Minerals, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; ex- governor of Cross-River State, Donald Duke and his wife, Onari Duke, among others
