Like a corporate religious citizen, world renowned Christ Embassy Pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, has been doing things for indigent children.
His church, Believers Love World International, popularly known as Christ Embassy, has a school founded by the president and general overseer of the church, known as Inner City Mission School, located in Oregun, Lagos and has been on for over five years now, without anybody knowing, except for privileged members of the church. This is probably because Pastor Chris doesn’t boast about his accomplishments and forays into missionary work. The school, if you must know, caters specifically for less-privileged pupils and they are taught at no cost, with all the advantages that other better-placed counterparts have. The school is a full-fledged government approved institution and is still welcoming more students with greater benefits and scholarships to chart their progress in life. This is a further confirmation to the fact that handsome and charismatic Pastor Chris is unperturbed about what many people are saying about him in Christendom. Inner City Mission School has produced excellent students and is still in that spirit of churning out more excellent students for the benefit of the Nigerian society and mankind. It’s about ‘Giving their Life a meaning.’ Meanwhile, while other men of God are boasting of their educational institutions, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is not in any way excited or braggart about the school, where he sponsors many less privileged children.
