Ogun Assembly Hopeful, Bolu Owotomo congratulates, charges new APC National Exco

frontline contender for the Ogun State House of Assembly seat in Ijebu North East local government area of Ogun state, Mr Bolu Owotomo has charged the newly elected national executives of the All Progressives Congress to be committed in changing the face of the party by bringing all aggrieved members of the party under one roof.

The co-founder and Managing Director of Bellwether Capital Management Limited, a private investment firm focusing on farming, real estate and trading made this known in a chat at the weekend.

According to him, the party should be more united and determined for more positive change towards wresting political power from the ruling party in the country which has become a thorn in the flesh of Nigerians.

“We should ensure an issue based alternative that will purposefully and constructively engage and challenge the PDP with decency and maturity as prescribed by democratic tenets and principles.”

Owotomo, also congratulated the “new APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and other newly elected officers for their emergence at the just concluded National Convention in Abuja.”

The financial expert however charged the new party leadership to put the unity and welfare of Nigerians ahead of other considerations and jettison all divisive tendencies that could further dent the image of the country among comity of nations.

In a similar development, Mr Owotomo expressed satisfaction at the new APC structure in Ogun state while congratulating the party faithful for the state, local government and ward congresses, describing the exercise as successful and a beacon of hope for the country.
