Need for adjustment in bank transfer remarks

I would like to propose a feature enhancement that introduces two distinct remark fields for bank transfers within the app: one public remark visible to the beneficiary, which already exists, and a new private personal remark visible only to the sender.

The personal remark would allow users to categorise each transaction at the point of transfer, using simple labels such as project, food, transportation, fuel, rent, charity, education, or health; just something like a drop-down.

This private tagging would not be shared with recipients and would be used solely for the sender’s financial tracking, ensuring privacy while adding meaningful context to every transaction.

With this structure in place, the bank can automatically generate weekly, monthly, and annual spending analytics, including charts and category comparisons, directly within the app.

This removes the need for third-party budgeting tools or manual tracking, significantly improving user engagement, financial awareness and personal reflection.
