According to our sources, one of those secretly living large off the government to the detriment of Deltans is Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s Personal Assistant (PA) on Special Duties, Mr David Siunoje alias Mama who the Governor is banking on seriously to dislodge the rising opposition in Aniocha South in 2019 and is allegedly secretly empowering him financially towards carrying out such task. According to the petition to the EFCC, Mama has become a multi-millionaire overnight since the inception of Okowa’s regime, using numerous and fictitious companies to carry out contracts, mainly substandard ones in Aniocha and Asaba. “The SUBEB and SPEB jobs is where the aide has made so much money, without his companies going for any bidding”, part of the petition stated. Mama has found new wealth and in display of such allegedly went to a car shop in Atlanta Georgia, USA, where he got a new car and shipped to Nigeria. He is said to have also bought a land in Asaba where he intends to build an estate with his newly ill-gotten wealth. Contracts carried out by him has allegedly fetched him N470 million in just two years in office, the petition further stated, and called on the Commission to begin massive investigations and probe of not just Mama but all his aides living flamboyantly.
