The football club’s latest Premier League title is only their second since the league’s inception in 1992, but it marks their 20th top-flight championship overall. This achievement brings them level with fierce rivals Manchester United, who also boast 20 top-flight titles.
With Liverpool having won six European Cups compared to Manchester United’s three, there is little doubt that the club now stands as the most successful football team in English football history.
