JUST IN: Lagos LG council chairman, Kolade Alabi collapses in APC stakeholders’ meeting

The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and Bariga Local Government Area Chairman, Kolade Alabi, has slumped this afternoon.

Alabi was addressing the audience present at the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting held at the party’s secretariat on Acme Road in Lagos, reports The Guardian.

According to sources, the ALGON chairman collapsed around 12 pm.

The incident threw those present at the meeting into a state of panic.

He has, however, been taken to a hospital where he is receiving medical attention.

APC members have wished the chairman a speedy recovery.
