In the days prior to his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kogi state-born Jide Omokore lived a fancy life.
Like the Sultan of an oil-rich island, the Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept Nigeria Limited boss had it all at his beck and call. The world was simply his to play with. Female friends strutted to several car marts and picked cars just by the mention of his name, but those were those days.
Having been arrested and let off the noose by the EFCC, Omokore, who has since bounced back, is now a conservative man.
Unlike before when he celebrated the least of his achievement with a champagne party, today the man allows great achievement pass in its stride. Of recent, nothing has been heard of him despite the fact that he is still cleaning out. Talk of a man who has learned the hard way and Jide Omokore pops out.
