The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes beating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 6,984,520 votes, to the second position. Peter Obi of the Labour Party came third with 6,101,533 votes.
The National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu said Tinubu was the winner having won at least 25% votes in two-thirds of the states and the Federal Capital Territory….
