ICPC ARRESTS 2 NDDC DIRECTORS FOR ALLEGED FRAUD

The Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).has arrested two directors of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)

These are directors in charge of education, health, and social services, and special projects.

They were arrested based on allegations of abuse of office regarding COVID-19 spending by the NDDC and the mishandling of the commission’s scholarship program.

Their arrest was effected on Monday and was detained till Thursday before released on administrative bail.

ICPC’s spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua, confirmed the arrest.
