“How can I talk about you in the past? Angels are in Heaven. You have only gone to Heaven where you belong. Rest in perfect peace”.
Those were the agonising words of former Senate Leader, Senator Ndoma Egba, as he mourned the demise of his wife, Mrs Amaka Ndoma Egba, penultimate Friday.
Amaka died in a fatal accident along Benin-Akure.
Mrs. Amaka Ndoma Egba, was reportedly going for a function in Akure, Ondo State, when the accident claimed her life.
The year 2020, has seen the former Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC Chairman being visited cruelly by death.
The deaths had started with his wife’s mother, Mrs Ethel Onono, who died on June 5th and was buried in Onitsha, Anambra State on August 7, 2020.
Then came that of his own mother, Madam Regina Achi Nentui who passed on Wednesday 1st July 2020 and was buried on August 4th, at Ikom, Cross River State.
He was also reported to have lost one of his media aides around the same period.
Few months after the burial of his mother, his Calabar residence was attacked in late October by hoodlums after the #Endsars protest was hijacked by hoodlums.
