It was a day full of glamour and joy in Lekki Lagos state as the foremost industrialist cum property magnate; Chief Razak Akanni Okoya popularly called RAO in the social circle pulled all the who is who to celebrate his 80th birthday with him in grand style.
It was an affair of who is who in the society as all roads led to the Oluwanishola spacious mansion of the billionaire in Lekki Lagos and people turned out in beautiful attires for the all-white dressed code event.
Known for throwing the big parties in Nigeria, Chief Okoya’s 80th birthday party was no exception. The party which was held at the ‘Oluwanishola’ residence of the industrialist/ property magnate was tastefully decorated and there was a lot to eat from continental to local delicacies and lots of choice expensive drinks.
Amongst those who graced the event was former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Chief Ebenezer Obey, Wasiu Ayinde (Kwam1), Adebutu Kessington, Oba Saheed Elegushi and his adorable wife, Sekinat Aramide Elegushi.
Also present at the talk of the town gig was Social media influencers, Toke Makinwa and Toyin Lawani, who was spotted struggling to mingle among the billionaires.
Earlier before the party proper, we gathered that Chief Okoya’s youngest wife, Shade Okoya, had surprised her husband with an early birthday celebration with cakes and few members of his family. She also surprised him by inviting some of his workers from outside the country.
One of the highlights of the event was the presence of one of Lagos slay queen and former wife of billionaire businessman Sunny Aku, Dabota Lawson. Her dressing speaks volumes and still remains in the memory of those who were present at the event. She dressed to create attention from the money bags at the gig.
A reliable source hinted SOCIETY REPORTERS that Dabota might be hunting for another billionaire since her separation from her former billionaire husband, due to irreconcilable differences.
Remember she was sent packing from the home of the billionaire who brought her from rags to riches.
Directing the cutting of the cake, the vice president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo prayed for the septuagenarian to enjoy God’s favor, love and long life in more wealth and happiness.
Other dignitaries at the talk of the town birthday gig were Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Otunba Subomi Balogun, Aliko Dangote, former Oyo state governor Otunba Alao Akala, Niyi Adebayo, Chief Samuel Adedoyin among other high society big wigs.
