Gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Oyo state Adebayo Adelabu has another investment that he’s obviously not making noise about.
Those in the know have allegedly fingered the former banker as the investor behind Golden Tulip Hotel.
The wealthy governorship candidate was a deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, director in First Bank plc before he left to pursue his political dream.
Commissioned not too long ago Golden Tulip Hotel is sited in the ancient city of Ibadan.
Jerico area is cited as the specific location.
The investigation by us revealed the hospitality spot to be one of the best in the city.
A source who recently visited the hotel described fittings and fixtures on display as out of this world.
The APC man who is working round the clock to ensure his bid to succeed incumbent governor Abiola Ajimobi is equally reported a couple of months back to be behind another multimillion naira hospitality place – Best Western Hotel in the Iyaganku area of Ibadan Oyo state.
Further digs revealed Bestwestern Hotel to be one of Adelabu’s investments currently under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission.
