A leading hospitality haven in Ogun East, The Conference Hotel and Suites, Ijebu-Ode, is now being restored to its original beauty, Societyreporters can reliably inform.
According to information gathered on Monday, February 24, 2020, some of the facilities which hitherto stood the hotel out among others in town are being given a facelift in a bid to meet up with the present demands in the market.
It could be recalled that the Conference Hotel and Suites Abeokuta, which is now tipped as the most tastefully furnished in the state was established a few months back.
A source who is in the know of the new development at the hotel confided in us that having established a first-class standard hospitality haven in Abeokuta, the management of the hotel decided to extend the renovation exercise to other branches in both Ijebu Ode and Sagamu.
According to the source, “What is ongoing is that the management is raising copying the standard of the Ijebu Ode and Sagamu hotels to the Abeokuta branch in the Ogun state capital. Our objective is that The Conference Hotels brand is built and positioned as the best hotel brand in Ogun State and Southwest in general with a few exceptions in Lagos. That’s our target in six months.”
Some of the facilities that have been upgraded include the front office, swimming pool, gym, the underground lounge, terrace bar, restaurant, and the Obalofin Hall.
We further gathered that security has also been stepped up at the hotel while the staff now looks smart and elegant in their new uniforms.
