Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has advised Governor Seyi Makinde to compensate traders at Agbowo shopping complex.

The party made this declaration via a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Olawale Sadare.

The statement was made available on Sunday.

Sadare claimed that the traders were forcefully ejected from the shopping complex.

He noted that thousands of legal occupants of the public facility have asked to vacate their offices, shops and business spaces immediately the government came on board.

“It is sad to note that a good number of residents and citizens who were doing their legitimate businesses at the Agbowo shopping complex were forcefully ejected from their shops, offices and business environment by the administration of Gov. Seyi Makinde ostensibly to pave the way for the upgrade of the public facility.

“Unfortunately, the same sprawling complex is now a shadow of itself as nothing has been done on it since 2019,” he said.
