Comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY has rubbished social media claims that he has a son out of wedlock.
AY had on his Instagram page recently celebrated the birthday of a 17-year-old boy he called his son.
Social media was on fire as many attacked and accused him of having such a grown up son out of wedlock.
But the comedian during the Easter edition of AY Live, said people just followed certain narrative on social media without investigation.
He said when he posted his son on Instagram, he received all kind of insults, as they accused him of being a useless man.
AY said the picture of the boy he posted on Instagram is the son of his sister.
“I want to tell you guys how social media works. Sometimes, there is always a narrative that goes on and people just follow it without any form of investigation.
“When I posted my son on Instagram, I received all kinds of insults. They said, ‘Useless man, he don born 17-year-old for outside. This and that.’
“Ladies and gentlemen, the son that I posted on Instagram… your sister’s son is also your son. Na my younger sister born am,” he stated.
