The war between two biggest political bigwigs in the All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Hon Benjamin Kalu took another dimension as Orji Kalu is heard to have allegedly chased the later from his campaign ground in Bende Local Government.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu represents Abia North Senatorial District in the upper chamber and the Chief Whip, while Benjamin Kalu, represents Bende Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and is the Spokesperson for the House.
Information available to us has it that the two APC leaders in the state has been engaged in a battle of supremacy for months now as Senator Orji Uzor accused Hon Benjamin Kalu of working with some forces in Abuja to undermine him, therefore the reason to have asked him out of his campaign ground in Bende Ward, seeing him as a saboteur.
There are very serious indication that Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu may work to sweep the rug off the foot of Benjamin Kalu, the young man whom he helped to emerge candidate in 2019 against Nnenna Ukeje, former House Committee Chairman on Foreign Affairs in the House of Representatives, and is now the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the February 25th elections.
