The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says its operatives have seized 184.5 kilogrammes of cocaine from a courier company, describing the operation as the largest cocaine seizure from a courier firm in the agency’s history.

NDLEA Chairman, Buba Marwa, disclosed this on Tuesday during a press briefing in Lagos, where he said two suspects had been arrested in connection with the consignment.

The suspects were identified as Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, a socialite popularly known as KC Luxury, and Lawal Kehinde, an employee of a logistics company.

Marwa said the seizure formed part of the agency’s intensified efforts to disrupt the trafficking and distribution of illicit drugs across the country.

He added that investigations were ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the consignment and identify other individuals who may have been involved.
