Captain Ezekiel Bala Agaba , a former Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Executive Director (ED is to spend seven years behind bar for laundering N1.5 billion.
That was the verdict of a Federal High Court, Lagos.
Agaba, who was in charge of Maritime, Safety and Shipping, was said to have looted the money from the agency.
