‎Abuja is set to become the stage for a groundbreaking entrepreneurship showcase as the Abuja Youth Talent Hunt, offering over ₦6 million in cash prizes alongside access to mentorship, training, and investment opportunities.

‎Organised by Abuja Investments Company Limited in partnership with the Abuja Enterprise Agency, the competition aims to equip young innovators with the skills and resources to transform their business ideas into thriving enterprises. Targeting entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35, the event focuses on three key sectors: Information Technology, Agriculture, and Creative Enterprise.

‎Participants will benefit from business plan training, presentation (pitch) skills coaching, and one-on-one mentorship from seasoned investors and industry leaders. Winners in each category will walk away with cash prizes of ₦1,000,000, ₦750,000, and ₦500,000 respectively, with additional access to investment funds and credit facilities worth millions.

‎The five-phase program runs from 20th August to 24th September 2025, beginning with a nationwide call for entries and culminating in a live Grand Finale where finalists will pitch their ideas before a panel of expert judges. Post-event, participants will receive ongoing monitoring and networking opportunities to ensure business sustainability.

‎Organisers emphasize that the initiative is more than a competition, it’s a capacity-building platform to address key SME challenges in Nigeria, from lack of finance to limited market access. Abuja, ranked first in ease of starting a business in Nigeria, provides an ideal setting for this drive to promote innovation, create jobs, and foster economic growth.

‎Registration is open from 11th to 20th August 2025 via aythunt.abujainvestments.com. The venue is Abuja Enterprise Agency, Plot 74, Sector Centre A, Cadastral Zone B15, Jahi, Abuja FCT.
